II. Boring processing mode
Boring is a method of machining on a prefabricated hole with a cutting tool to make it enlarged, and the boring work can be carried out either on a boring machine or on a lathe.
What is boring and why is it so difficult?
Boring, refers to the forged, cast or drilled holes for further processing. Boring can expand the hole diameter, improve accuracy, reduce surface roughness, but also can better correct the original hole axis of the skew. Boring can be divided into rough boring, semi-fine boring and fine boring.
Detailed Boring Process: Process Analysis from Rough Boring to Finish Boring
01 Boring Standard boring, as an integral part of a machining centre, is designed to ensure the dimensional and form accuracy of the hole system, thereby correcting errors that may have arisen in previous processes. This type of machining is mainly used for critical mating holes or support holes in machine parts.
